Squadlay is a free app that helps friend groups track a shared weekly parlay. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
The short version
- We only collect what the app needs to work.
- We never sell your information or share it with advertisers.
- Squadlay never handles money or places bets.
- You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.
What we collect
- Account info: your email, first name and password. Passwords are stored encrypted, and nobody at Squadlay can see them.
- Profile photo: only if you add one.
- Squad activity: your picks, odds, results, reactions and chat messages.
- Players without accounts: a squad manager can add a friend by first name and enter picks for them. If that friend signs up, those picks move to their account.
How we use it
- To sign you in and show you your squads.
- To show your picks, stats, photo and messages to the members of your squads. Nobody outside your squad can see them.
- To send account emails, like password resets. We don't send marketing emails.
Who helps us run Squadlay
We use a few trusted services to run the app. They only get what they need to do their job:
- Supabase stores accounts, squad data and photos.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Resend sends account emails.
- The Odds API provides NFL betting lines. None of your information is sent to it.
Cookies and storage
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser remembers small things like which chat messages you've seen. We don't use ad trackers.
Deleting your data
You can delete your own chat messages any time, and you can leave a squad from the Squad tab. To delete your whole account and everything tied to it, email us at the address below and we'll take care of it.
Age
Squadlay is for adults 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
